  1. Thanks for your time today, some interesting info from you, good mix of humour and solid knowledge. I like the part about even though your organisation might not yet be even considering the product (12c), its good to know what it solves, and not pre-invent solutions that are already solved (once product installed). I think its something we all struggle with in Enterprise organisations, particularly as developers (especially when roll-outs of the products are normally dictated by operational teams, and dbas and their budgets).

One lasting thought, what was the bunny slapping slide about? Think you said you’d mention is later, but time got to you.

  2. One of the best session of Connor — as usual – Very interesting to note about the processors and way handling memory and how the latest processors evolved. Also Java development without understanding fundamental of Oracle and binding variables and SQL usage can be very harmful to the database. Looking forward to his slides and statistics pages – Wonderful

    1. Yes where / when do we get the slides – i’ve been talking with some enthusiasm to team members since I came back to the office, but really need some of the slides to attempt to articulate.

  3. An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this
onto a colleague who had been doing a little research on
this. And he in fact ordered me dinner because I found it for him…
lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!

But yeah, thanks for spending some time to talk about this matter here on your site.
