Welcome to second four posts covering the four days of CloudWorld 2024. Here’s my recommendations for how to spend your time on Tuesday.

Tuesday is typically keynote day at CloudWorld, but I’ve also added some sessions and labs for those who want to spend their time deep in the weeds.

Then for a more Database Centric keynote, Andy Mendel will be talking about what the future holds for the Oracle Database.

If keynotes are not your thing, this might be a good time to sneak into the 23ai hands on lab, or if grab a theatre session with Doug Hood who looks after much of our AI vector offerings in the Oracle Database.

At 11:45, you have a couple of options depending on your focus area. There is a session on the True Cache, a cool new 23ai performance feature, or if JSON is more your thing, then check out Beda’s session on duality views and the MongoDB API

Then of course, grab your lunch and sit in on Larry Ellison’s conference keynote

After lunch, for the DBAs there’s a great session on patching with good friend Kamil, but if APEX is more your thing, then it’s hard to go past a Hands On Lab session that has Shakeeb on hand to assist.

And then finish off your Tuesday with Juan’s keynote which is always a great insight into the Database industry and directions.
